Verint Partners with Squiz to Serve Governments

Verint (News - Alert) Systems, a developer of customer engagement and security intelligence software, recently announced that it has partnered with Squiz, which helps enterprises to manage complex digital data, to target government agencies and assist them with their transformations from paper to digital processes.

David Moody, the vice president of Verint, commented on the gap that exists between government need and existing commercial options. He indicated that Verint and Squiz can improve the market by giving government entities an easier path to digital.

“Government organizations are looking for technology partners that can help augment their teams and exceed citizen expectations,” Moody said. “This is why we’re excited about the partnership with Squiz. We can help address both current and future government needs, ultimately enabling them to deliver experiences equivalent to, or better than, those in established commercial organizations.”

He also noted that government wants to make the leap to digital processes because they see what it has done in the private sector. Across the globe, everything from cloud computing to big data-supported analytics has given leading enterprises a step up on the competition. This is where government wants to be – better than the rest and with measurable internal improvements as their own standard.

Squiz will begin the process by speaking with government agencies about their needs. It can determine which operations will most benefit from, for instance, the use of Squiz’s content management system, Matrix, or its search engine, Funnelback.

Verint will support those programs with its established customer engagement software, Engagement Management. That platform gives customers (for governments, this will be the public) a path to accessing the services the government offers. This can be, for instance, a portal for chatting with human resource officials or for accessing motor vehicle documents.

In any case, the ultimate goal here is for governments to deliver services in a manner similar to their private sector counterparts. Public officials want to see their services become meaningful for the public and retain personalization throughout any customer’s journey. With the digital tools from Verint and Squiz, that desire can become a reality.
